From Saturday 25 March 2017 to Sunday 30 July 2017

Tatton Park, Knutsford, Cheshire, WA16 6QN

An exhibition inspired by the landscape and gardens of Tatton stitched by the members of Altrincham, Chelford, Manchester and Warrington Branches of the Embroiderers’ Guild. This forms part of the countrywide exhibition to celebrate the 300th anniversary in 2016 of the birth of Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown, the garden designer who influenced and changed the landscapes of many of our stately homes. Members have used a variety of mixed media and stitch techniques to create unique pieces of textile art based on the gardens and landscapes of Tatton Park. We invite you to come along and be inspired to join in one of our workshops and create your own small piece of work.
