On Tuesday 1 August 2017

Tatton Park's postman has got into a muddle! Can you help him deliver his mixed up letters to all the fairytale characters living in our Gardens? Recommended for children aged 3-5 years old. All children must be accompanied by an adult. One ticket should be purchased per child and this includes free participation for one adult. We politely request that only one accompanying adult attends per child for health and safety reasons. This event must be pre-booked.

Through the use of fun drama games, your budding actor or actress will devise mini scenes around the theme of "Secrets”. Family and friends will be invited back at the end of the workshop to watch the scenes in our own show. Recommended for children aged 7-11 years old. Adult accompaniment during the session is not required, but provision of an emergency contact number is essential. This event must be pre-booked.

'Scuffles with Superheroes'

On Thursday 3 August 2017

A fun, interactive creative writing workshop for children with talented former Cheshire poet laureate, Joy Winker. Joy describes this course as: “Many children love to read about superheroes. In this creative writing workshop, we will be inventing new superheroes; each with their own unique secret skills and abilities. Of course each heroic character will also need a despicable villain to make for exciting adventures…. “ A complimentary notebook and pen is provided for each participant. A fun, interactive creative writing workshop for children with talented former Cheshire poet laureate, Joy Winker. Joy describes this course as: “an exercise in creating through writing, imaginary masks and shields; fabulous and magical to be used by our fictional heroes and heroines in their breath-taking adventures. Maybe it’s a shield made from a tungsten-strength spider’s web or a mask that renders us invisible. Fundamentals of off-road skills, exploring ‘out of bounds’ farmland trails and woodland single-track. Medals and certificates for special achievements will be awarded at the finish.
