Mansion Exhibition: Beatrix Potter's life - From 23 March 2013 to 1 September 2013

Beatrix Potter (1866-1943), is one of Britain’s best known children’s writers, but her talents went beyond the writing and illustrating of her much loved stories. She was also a talented amateur natural scientist with a particular interest in fungi, as well as a keen farmer in her beloved English Lake District. Beatrix Potter Dance, Drama and Song Workshop - On 31 May 2013

Using the magical tales of Beatrix Potter as inspiration, our professional drama and dance tutors, Alison and Becci from LIPA 4:19, will lead a fun and creative day of dance, drama and singing. Adults are invited to a performance to finish the day.

Pigling Bland Weekend at the Farm - From 1 June 2013 to 2 June 2013

Join us in celebrating the 100 year anniversary of The Tale of Pigling Bland. Published the year that Beatrix Potter was married and settled down to farming life for good. She had already been keeping pigs and she sketched them for this story, using her own farmyard setting. Classic and Performance Car Spectacular - From 1 June 2013 to 2 June 2013
